President Buhari commends Nigerians on their improvement in Agriculture

President Muhammadu Buhari has commended young Nigerians on their improvement in agricultural production and development in the country.
The President made the comments yesterday that he is very pleased with Nigerians seriousness in agricultural business and development so far across the nation.
He said the nation have the potential to feed everyone with agricultural products, even in creation of employment opportunity to the citizens.
“I am very pleased that young Nigerians are taking agriculture seriously…I commend all the young entrepreneurs who are heeding the call”.
Meanwhile, according to the President Spokesperson, Garba Shehu, who stated that Buhari has ordered CBN Governor, Prof Godwin Emefiele, to cease from providing funds to Nigerians who want to import food.
“Don’t give a cent to anybody to import food into the country”.
The president added that Nigerian have reached to level of food production.
“We have achieved food security and for physical security, we are not doing badly”.
In his statement, Buhari equally commended some states governors for their efforts so far to ensuring that Nigeria becomes independent in food production.
For instances, states like Lagos, Kebbi, Ogun, Ebonyi, Jigawa and Kano for their immense efforts in the agricultural sector.
In his speech, he urged other states to emulate those aforementioned states and also collaborate with federal government for agricultural revolution in the country.
