The Founder and CEO Facebook , Mark Zuckerberg has reacted to the Elizabeth Warren plot to break up Facebook.
Senator Elizabeth Warren from Massachusetts, who is running for US president in 2020, has made a big, structural change during the rallying cry of her presidential campaign.
On technology sectors, she says that giant companies like Facebook have become so large that they are stifling competition.
In March, Elizabeth Warren proposed to break up Facebook, Amazon and other technology firms. She paid for a billboard that reads “BREAK UP BIG TECH” in San Francisco as a result of her presidential campaign policy. She did this to ensure that tech workers received her message.
Mr. Zuckerberg said that the Facebook company would sue if Senator Warren were to enact the plan as president according to the leaked audio recordings of open meetings with employees recently.
“If Warren gets elected as president, then I would bet that we will have a legal challenge, and I would bet that we will win the legal challenge.
“I don’t want to have a major lawsuit against our own government. It is not like the position you want to be in. We care about our country and want to work with our government to do good things. But at the end of the day, if someone is going to try to threaten something that has been in existence, then you go to the mat and you fight”, Zuckerberg said.
