Activists and civil society have protested against the continued detention of the Sahara reporter publisher Omoyele Sowore and Olawale Bakare.
The protesters gathered at Department of State Security (DSS) headquarters on Tuesday morning after court’s order to granting bail for their release.
It was gathered that a large number of armed DSS operatives were deployed around the building and road leading to the of the DSS headquarters to stop the protesters, according to Sahara reporters.
Human rights and Sowore lawyer, Femi Falana, leaked plan to detain Sowore again with more fresh charge.
The protesters have been prevented by DSS from entering the premises.
