The Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele has stated that Creative Industry Park will support skills acquisition for more than 600,000 Nigerians across three cities.

In line with ‘Creative Nigeria Summit’ and ‘CIFI Initiative, Bankers’ Committee have also unveiled 5-year plan for music, movie, fashion, ICT industries under new Creative Industry Financing Initiative in Nigeria.
Bankers’ Committee has planned 40-acre Creative Industry Park around National Theatre, Lagos. The remaining two others will be located at Kano, Port Harcourt or Enugu.
Governor Emefiele assured that he will encourage the innovative work of young talented Nigerians as it could significantly contribute to the growth and development of the country.
He also said that Central Bank of Nigeria under his watch has determined to play an active role in supporting growth in key sectors that could create jobs on a massive scale.
