Buhari to meet South African President for wellbeing of Nigerians in South Africa
President Buhari will meet the President of Republic of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa in October.
The information was disclosed by spokesperson to the president, Garba Shehu, who said that Buhari accepted the invitation to visit South Africa during conversation on phone with Ramaphosa.
The Nigerian President, Buhari will visit south Africa to tackle the lingering issues concerning Nigerians settling in south Africa.
According to Garba Shehu, the meeting will primary aim is to discuss on wellbeing of Nigerian citizens living in south Africa. And need to promote trade and investment among the two nations.
The South African president, in his response to the invitation, said that the meeting will promote an excellent opportunity to both nations; This will aid to solidify and develop strategic partnership and cooperation on matters of peace, security and socio-economy in Africa.
‘’We will discuss issues on mutual interests and concern in global governance’’
Ramaphosa also added that the meeting will provide huge opportunity between the both nations; thereby help to implement a bi-national commission that will enhance the strategic decisions adopted in 2016.
