Nnamdi Kanu has warned Nigerians in Umuahia, Abia State to be wary of Nigeria Army who are planning to launch searches in hotels around Umuahia town.
The IPOB leader made this statement on his official twitter social media handle on Saturday.
“Be aware! We received information that the Nigerian Army will launch surprise searches in hotels around Umuahia axis, they monitor most hotels hoping that top #IPOB servants may come in early before the burial date. Stay safe & avoid being kidnapped”.
It was recalled that Vanguard reported that over 100 soldiers in nine military veterans and 2 Armored personnel carriers patrolled Bank road to Flo FM. The Soldiers also blocked the entrance street to Eze Kanu’s Palace, Afaraukwa, Umuahia with their van as they walked around the areas.
Nnamdi Kanu’s parents Eze Okwu and Ugoeze Kanu, will be buried on February 14, 2020, at their home.
