APC reacts to Buhari victory at Presidential Tribunal

All Progressive Congress (APC) has reacted to President Buhari’s victory at Presidential Tribunal sitting in Abuja on Wednesday, September 11.

According to the statement issued by Lanre Issa-Onilu, National Publicity Secretary of All Progressive Congress (APC), the party also congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari and the Vice President Professor Yemi Osibanjo.

The Party therefore, congratulated the judiciary for their effort in delivery of  the long awaited judgment.

“We note the painstaking efforts and thoroughness of the justices of Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in arriving at their decision”.

All Progressive Congress (APC) also noted that Presidential Poll victory at the Tribunal would doubtlessly go down in the annals of the nation

APC also stated that Peoples Democratic Party, PDP solely depends on petition filed against President Muhammadu Buhari on educational qualification, and also the issues of Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) electronic server and transmission of result.

However, the Tribunal absolutely dismissed the petitions for lacking merit.

“This petition was rightly dismissed by the Presidential Tribunal for lacking in merit. From this outset, our Party was not perturbed over the PDP and Atiku’s Petition; and this will go down in Nigeria’s history as the most frivolous in the history of Election Petition”.

Based on Buhari’s victory at the Tribunal, APC stated that the outcome of the Judgment was as a result of concerted effort of the Party. This will help the party to continue focus on progress and development of the nation as well as fighting corruption.

“Going forward, APC’s victory at the presidential polls and election tribunal represents the Party’s collective desire and effort as a people to remain focus on the progressive growth and development of our country’s economy, fight against corruption, and providing security”.

“We have taking a bold step by rescuing our nation from the opposition party, when our collective interests were being traded corruptly among a few pillagers”.

Finally, the Party added that the APC administration would lead this nation to the promise land
